An experimental journey beyond the norm that makes it possible to discover the boundaries of transgression-moments through film and music and that talks about inclusion in a very direct way.

Synopsis

Trans[per]form is an experimental journey beyond the norm. The mix between documentary and experimental film allows for an immersion to the very bottom of the essence. There you can find tangible images, perceptible sounds and the perception of the possible and the impossible as well as the (re)thinking of an inclusive society.

The film works with a camera concept that uses three kinds of cameras to work on the transgression-moments.
1. the participatory camera, which immerses itself in the action.
2. the process-oriented camera, documenting the process around the performance.
3. the professional camera for the main performance at Kunsthalle Basel.
It was a deep experience during the production an in the editing process, to work with the different camera-perspectives, the sounds, the colors and with what was said.
The performers and protagonists lead the viewer to the very bottom of understanding their perspectives and to evolve a own possibility of access to the subject. This honesty gives this movie a power of discussable ingredients for a more inclusive society and its chances.
